Nice central hotel in Sliema
The hotel and the rooms were very clean. The staff is very attentive and friendly
The opening hours of the pools are a little too short. The pool bar closes at 5pm. The indoor pool at 6pm. We had booked half board. Unfortunately we didn't like the breakfast and dinner. We didn't like it on any day. Unfortunately the bed was too soft. I had back pain after the first night. My reviews are small. We had a very nice time. I can recommend the hotel. However, I would go somewhere else to eat in the evening.

What was the highlight of AX The Palace
Wonderful
The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area as the bus and ferries are nearby. Every staff member wore a smile which was lovely. The room we had was large with a balcony and an enormous bed. The Asian restaurant in the hotel is very good and there are spectacular views from the restaurant. The whole hotel was quiet despite being busy. Would definitely return.
Mainly the bed which was too soft to be comfortable.

What was the highlight of AX The Palace
Good place to stay just outside of Valletta
The hotel was in a good location, just a few minutes walk from the coast and a nice breakfast place called WOM (Word Of Mouth) - would recommend. The hotel itself is nice, with lots of cafes and bars etc. which are nice, if expensive. The room itself had the biggest bed i have ever seen! :-) There was a good bathroom and complementary water and bottle of wine. The staff were helpful and the check out time was good. Its approx 15 mins to walk to the person ferry to Valletta or there are many Bolts around (download the app before your trip - its very similar to Uber).
Cost of the bars and the breakfast were a bit steep.
